January 1985. With the approval of Ministry of Foreign and
Trade, Hansen was founded by joint investments from Zhuhai,
Shanghai and Hong Kong with a registered capital of RMB 2million.
January 1986. Hansen started operation with 28 employees,
producing Panda Brand RF cable, plug wire and various connecting
wire applied in electric appliances.
October 1987. Hansen SYV series solid PE insulated coaxial
cable was put into production.
1989. Hansen CTA type 5-cell PE insulated coaxial cable was
put into production. The product was evaluated to be the Best
of the Series in the National TV Cable Quality Appraisal in
1992 and 1994.
1991. Hansen was awarded the titles of Advanced Enterprise
and Advanced Technology-Oriented Enterprise of Guangdong Province.
1992. For being outstanding in promoting science and technology,
Hansen was awarded by Zhuhai government for the first time.
December 1995. Hansen C-F type physically foamed coaxial
cable was put into production.
1996. Hansen was awarded the titles of Hi-tech Enterprise
of Guangdong Province and Creditable-for-10-Year Enterprise
of Guangdong Province.
June 1997. Hansen was awarded the First Prize of Zhuhai
for Outstanding Contribution to Technological Promotion.
July 1997. Hansen succeeded in ISO9002 Quality System Certification
(USA).
December 1997. Hansen Coaxial Drop Cable applied in HFC
network passed the appraisal at the provincial level. Hansen
cable started to enter the international market as the only
Chinese cable matching famous brands in the world.
December 1997. Hansen physically foaming coaxial cable was
appraised as a key state-level new product.
Early 1998. Hansen conducted assets reorganization, shaking
off limitations of the original system to launch a new development
planning.
June 1998. Hansen won the First Prize of Guangdong Province
for Technological Advancement.
November 1998. Hansen coaxial drop cable was appraised as
a key state-level new product.
April 1999. Hansen changed its name from Hansen Speical Electric
Wire CO., LTD to Hansen Industries Corporation.
1999. Hansen was named key Hi-tech Enterprise of the National
Torch Program and Guangdong Province's Advanced Enterprise
for Quality and Benefit. Hansen cable was appraised as Quality
Product and Famous Brand Product of Guangdong Province.
August 2000. Hansen headquarters were moved to the new factory
site. Hansen became a modernized hi-tech manufacturing enterprise
with three production bases.
2000. Both 50-ohm antenna cable and new-type PE(X)-AL-PE-(X)
composite pipe, which were listed respectively in the National
Torch Program and the Torch Program of Guangdong Province,
passed the appraisal at the provincial level. Hansen entered
a broader field of development.
November 2001.Hansen 50ohms coaxial cable was listed as
National Key Torch Program and evaluated as the State-level
Key New Product.
January 2002. Hansen succeeded in ISO 9001:2000 Quality
Management System Certification(USA).
January 2003. Hansen succeeded in ISO14001 Environment Management
System Certification and OHSAS18001 Occupation Health Safety
Management System Certification.
March 2003. Hansen Industries Park, covering 142 thousand
Sq. m, is under construction.
By 2003, Hansen has grown into a modernized hi-tech
enterprise with 800 employees, state-of-the-art production
lines, enormous technical strength and perfected quality
management. Hansen's products enjoy popularity of both
domestic and overseas markets. |
